Why it’s Great
From the curator: Christine’s message is one of fantasy, irony and happiness. She has achieved a unique cartoonish style that appeals to many collectors and viewers. Her technique is well mastered with all different mediums.
Christine lives and works in Provence. She started as a graphic designer for the famous brand l’Occitane. She works as an art teacher and an artist. Dealing with teenagers and their problems has a great influence in her paintings and subjects. She depicts in her unique technique – mixed media with collage, drawing, scratches – a message of humor and irony in a comic style. Very focused on young people, she depicts their world: friendship, music, cinema, relationships. Her palette is bright and her style is a mixture of Street and Naif.
